Mayme Dillman aged 25 died at the family residence two miles south of English on March 3 following influenza. Interment was in Cunningham cemetery. Two days later Ernest E. Dillman aged 34 died Wednesday night also of influenza. Funeral services were held at the cemetery. Survivors include four daughters aged 5 months to 5 years all ill but recovering.

Lois Marting Gibson born May 16 1892 in Princeton died March 2 1919 in Louisville Kentucky from pneumonia. She married Victor W Gibson in 1910 and joined the Christian church at Milltown. She leaves a husband a daughter Clarice five and one half a years and six sisters and one brother. Burial was at Eckerty March 4. The family thanks friends neighbors Maronic Brethren and Order of Telegraphers for sympathy and aid.

Mrs. Samuel Morgan Jr. died Sunday morning after a illness and was buried at Williams cemetery Monday evening. The son of Arley Parks has been very sick the past week. Miss Ruth Eckerly returns home from Central Normal College visit and will move to Indianapolis for a position. Mrs. J N McWilliams's health improves. Rev. Martin concluded M E church meetings with eighteen conversions. Rev. Fink aided. Anna Eckerty of Indianapolis visited. Uncle Joe Whitmire attended church and met with E R Moory family. Omer Deich, returning from six months in France, arrived home last week. Mrs. Rachel Carr notes by cable from Red Cross that Elvet is well in France.

School opened here Tuesday after a two week absence. Mr and Mrs George Knight visited W C Smith and family Sunday. Mrs Luther Benham and children of English visited Mr Benham's parents last week. Forrest Senn was in English Thursday on business. Stanley Finch Orin Bennett Forrest and Ernest Senn attended church at Tunnel Hill Sunday night.
