Includes coroner inquests, medical aid to the poor, janitorial and sheriff services, poor relief, board of review expenses, county printing, postmortem inquest costs, and per diem salaries for the County Superintendent and other officials. Contains numerous names and itemized payments to individuals and firms.
The Indiana State Fair premiums totaling 20491.75 dollars are distributed across divisions including horses cattle dairy products sheep hogs poultry grain fruits and flowers beef and honey table luxuries and art. Sousa and his Band will perform at the fair grounds and Tomlinson Hall with other attractions promised. Premium lists and entry blanks available by mailing a card to Chas Downing Secretary State House Indianapolis.

A corps of surveyors under Tennis Construction Company begins work on an electric railway line from New Albany to Corydon with potential extensions to Wyandotte Cave Leavenworth and branches to Harrison county farming and fruit regions. Louisville and Southern Indiana Traction Company is suspected behind the project. The plan includes New Albany as headquarters and possible east and north extensions toward Paoli French Lick and West End Split.

Paoli saloon leaders face action as John McPherson and two others are arrested amid accusations of secret devices enabling all hours liquor sales. Rev Moore cites public nuisance, property decline, and legal gaps to justify relief, with earlier similar suits withdrawn elsewhere. Born to James and wife a girl arrives. Cumberland line reaches Wyandotte. Capt Jack Carnes dies at Golconda. Local notices list two surveys, a buggy, a road wagon for sale or trade at Corner Hotel English Indiana.

Value of the two car loads is about 3000 dollars with 1000 dollars damage.
