Mrs. Margaret Newkirk widow of John Newkirk died suddenly Wednesday at her son George Newkirk’s home three and a half miles north of English. She was 83 years old and had been a Christian church member since 1876. Survived by her son George. funeral held at home Thursday by Samuel Purkhiser. burial in Providence Cemetery.
