Robert L. Stafford of New Albany a brakeman on the Louisville St. Louis division fell from a moving freight train over a twenty six foot trestle at Taswell five miles west of English Indiana. He revived after being picked up and walked home later that day. Samuel R. Lambdin, a prominent attorney in Paoli, survives an attack when a shooter fired two shots through a window late Friday. The first bullet pierced the window and wall near him, the second tore through the sash and ceiling before falling to the floor. Lambdin ducked and escaped. the community awaits the culprit’s capture.
