E F Megenity Dies After A Long Life Of Service
Bijah F. Megenity born April 3 1836 in Oldham Kentucky dies July 29 1916 at age 80 with a large family including eight children thirty grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He served in the Union Army and was a church member many years moving between Baptists and M E. He leaves a widow Mary J Buchanan and many friends. Funeral services were held July 30 at Providence church conducted by Rev Oscar Donner with burial nearby.
