Keener Price plans ore shipment as mining revives
Keener-Price workers display high grade copper ore from their Battle basin dump. J O B Keener says ore assays run 58 to 74 percent copper, averaging about 40 percent through the vein. A 50 foot shaft has been sunk, new machinery installed, and work expected to start September first with more men hired to run the plant at full capacity as the Encampment mining district shows revival.
