Mondell Proposal Aims to Expand Stockraising Homesteads
Congressman Mondell introduced a bill to amend section 3 of the stockraising homestead law. It would allow any qualified entryman to enter up to 640 acres in designated lands to complement an existing entry, within twenty miles, with residence retained on the original tract. The plan seeks broader eligibility beyond grazing lands and mirrors earlier efforts to expand the 640 acre provision.
