First Prize on Asbestos and Copper at State Fair
Joe Pixley received a check for .00 last Friday as first prize on asbestos and copper at the Wyoming state fair at Douglas this year. In 1914 Mr. Pixley also took first premium on asbestos and copper. The display samples were taken from his claim up the North Fork. This good showing reflects on the community and these minerals and suggests future development and value.

Big Horn Cattle Co Buys 1000 Head in Major Trade
One of the season’s largest cattle deals saw Big Horn Cattle Co of North Park Colorado purchase 1000 head of cattle from J T Bell of Cheyenne. Joe Mitchener, a Missouri rancher and top horse buyer for the British and French governments, bought 800 calves from Bell. Cattle shipments were sent to Missouri.
