The Face at the Window and the Band Creek Hold Up
Norcross and his secretary Dodds aid Sheila Macrae and her cousin Maisie Ann at Band Creek during a peculiar train hold up. Chadwick, a kidnapped magnate, is rescued and offered control of Pioneer Short Line while Dunton and Hatch plot to block reorganizing its directors. Dodds overhears a plot to arrest the Boss on murder charges, and Norcross seizes control of the railroad, resisting Dunton’s appointee as manager.
