Mr Helmer Peterson and Miss Myrtle Dunbar wed in Twin Falls Idaho on Easter Sunday then arrived in Encampment Tuesday. A parade greeted the couple with burros rice and shoes while the groom was briefly jailed amid playful welcomes. The couple expressed happiness and well wishes from friends.

Easter Day in Encampment Observed at Churches
Easter Sunday in Encampment drew a large crowd. The Presbyterian Sunday school gathered in the morning then moved to St James church where Rev Abraham delivered an Easter discourse. An afternoon program at the Presbyterian church featured an address for children and adults. Evening services at St James closed the day with a well attended sermon.
