26th Senatorial District and Land Office Proof Changes

Representatives W L Belden and D R Streeter noted. A large portion of the county corn crop is ripe and being harvested. Frost has not yet occurred. The General Land Office has revised its rule on final proofs. five year proofs may be filed at county seats within the district. Commutation proofs remain at Bismarck, with a possible February exception allowing some to be filed in Linton for one or two days.

Emmons county GOP delegate convention set for Hazelton

The Republican delegates from Emmons county will meet September 22 2004 at Hazelton school house at 1 00 p m to nominate county officers and set up precinct caucuses September 17 from 4 to 6 p m. Precinct delegations are listed by precinct with one delegate at large and additional delegates based on last election votes. The county central committee asks credentials be sent to the chairman or secretary by August Sunday.
