New Towns Rise Along Chicago Milwaukee Line West of Missouri
The Chicago Milwaukee and St Paul Railway extends into South Dakota and North Dakota with over 100 miles laid along the Pacific coast extension. Lemmon in Butte County is among new towns. Hettinger in Adams County opens Oct 24 1907 with lot auctions. Bowman in Bowman County to follow. Regular service from Ombridge to Lemmon began Oct 6 with Aberdeen connections.
