President Taft on Tour and Autumn Prospects
A playful verse recounts President Taft touring by train and addressing officials, with mock schedules and quips about a long journey and political figures. It shifts to reflections on October and November, roasts public figures, and imagines seasonal scenes, hunting, farming, and a holiday mood. Ice for sale closes the notice.
