A Hazelton area bulletin notes F E Kiser visiting his Alabama-born father, E M Jones nearly completing Gayton district's new schoolhouse, and Kelly planting a thousand trees northeast of town. Other items include a mower injury to L G Carney, Mrs G W Engel’s hospital visit, a wolf-skin tally, a May 29 30 Sunday school convention at the Presbyterian church, Main Street improvements, Earl Frederick’s new International high-wheel auto, H W Kyes arranging Livona bonds, county commissioners proceedings, plans for new Hazelton buildings, and a tribute to S Streeter’s Record reaching twenty five years in publication.
