An Anderdeen dispatch to AP dated May 18 states the Loo route from Ashley will enter Campbell County near the northeast corner loop through the county and exit near the northwest corner. A new town may arise seven miles north of Mound City and the river terminus will be between Vanderbilt and Winona. Engineers warn no work this year due to missing congressional consent to cross the reservation. Contracts for forty five miles west of Ashley have been let.
