Taken Up Mare With Brand In Winona North Dakota
A dark bay mare with a white forehead and cropped mane was taken up by Jacob Hansen of Winona North Dakota. The horse weighs about 1000 pounds, appears six or seven years old, and is branded 7 on the right hip and 7 on the left shoulder. It ran with Hansen’s horses on the prairie all last winter.
