Herd Notice in 1898 Season Cattle Run

A cattle herd will be driven through the 1898 season with bulls added to the herd at $1 per head, under G. M. Manpiao. Miss Saidee Davidson, secretary of the state Columbian club of North Dakota, toured the city to coordinate furnishings for the North Dakota building press room at the world fair, chosen to represent Rumsey county. The room features blue gray walls, fleecy blue ceiling, old blue and gold furnishings, antique oak furniture, leather chairs, secretaries, a couch, stands, wicker rockers with club and city woven in, large electrotyped views in oak frames, and state papers for reference. Cabinet Smith-Premier typewriters and stationery are donated for visiting editors.
