They read approved February 22 1896 report. set April 1 1896 as payment deadline. offered 16 in prizes for best three letters from county citizens. Letters judged by three disinterested state association members. first prize seven dollars, second five, third three. Provisions to mail county pamphlets and lists to county director or state secretary. Meeting adjourned subject to president call. Also notes on local letters and stock matters and a notice inviting bids for railroad land hay permits in Emmons county with bids opening April 11 1896.
