A woman who was seriously ill is now believed to be out of danger after treatment. The update says her condition has stabilized and she is expected to recover.
A New York paragrapher reports a famous author sent aZola piece to a magazine editor. Rejected as too pessimistic, the editor asked for another. The author split the piece into Tolstoy and Balzac, substituting the works of ate and Balzac. The editor accepted both.
