The Record notes House Britt No 122 makes abandonment of wife and children a felony. House Bill No 189 requires counties to help fund care at the insane asylum. It also bans killing beavers until January 1, 1920, creating a fifteen year no open season.
The measure, now law, punishes selling adulterated white lead as pure and selling mixed paints that do not meet their label claims. It passed both houses and was signed by the Governor.
