Breeder William McCombie Honored at Paris Exhibition
The late William McCombie of Tillyfour Scotland earned top prizes at the Paris International Exhibition of 1877. He won the Prix d Honneur for best breeding animals and the Prix d Aptitude for the group, defeating Shorthorns Herefords and all other breeds.
