Emil Swanson of Temnvik and Clif Putnam of Glanavon visited Linton. Several births, campaigns, and chautauqua events are noted along with local travels, appointments, and upcoming Fourth of July plans in Braddock, Strasburg, Hazelton, and nearby communities.
Judge Goss, former Minor District judge for six years, seeks another term on the Supreme Court. Voters in the upcoming primaries can find his name on the Judicial Ballot and mark an X beside it.
There will be a meeting of the stockholders at the central office in Temvik on Tuesday afternoon June 27. Election of officers and other business to be conducted.
Ralph Bingham of Philadelphia, a 35 year platform entertainer, brings his act to the Chautauqua with the Christine Giles Company. He is a versatile storyteller and performer praised as a natural show in himself and a crowd favorite for all ages.
The Borantans for Chautauqua deliver a strong refined wholesome comedy. A special play Their Matrimonial Venture was written for them by Jean Constantavez. Tavez now works in Los Angeles with Keystone film Company on their scenarios.
Temvik residents report multiple visits and departures to nearby towns. Mrs. E Hardt and Mrs. McVey travel to Linton and Aberdeen while Miss Allen returns from Ellensburg for a summer with Mrs. Stedman. A Temvik baseball game was won by the farmer boys as several locals attend non partisan lectures and chautauqua events.
The Chautauqua program opened Monday with Stew art I Long speaking on Reaching the Goal. Fred J Clarke followed on Facts and Fools. Russian musicians and Old Home Singers contributed, with Minakuchis the Japanese lecturer. Band music drew crowds through day and night, weather limiting attendance but interest remains high.

A gathering hosted by Herriman, Mrs. McVey, Anderson P. Brenda, Stirring E. Magram, Mrs. Will Hickenbothan and sons, W. Foell, Mrs. L. S. Foell, and Fred. Foell celebrated Art Gibbon’s sister and daughter with a large, joyful dinner.
The annual meeting of the Stock holders of the Farmers Elevator Company of Linton will be held at the court house on Saturday June 24 at 2 o’clock PM. Hans Hanson secretary.
Sidney Smith of Steele Kidder county arrived in Linton Tuesday night to survey the legislative contest in Emmons and Kidder counties. The farmer and former house member is well known for his public service.
