Death of Enna Pfeifer at Bismarck Hospital

Enna Pfeifer aged 15 daughter of Fred Pfeifer died at the Bismarck hospital Saturday afternoon from meningitis after a one week illness. She died on her fifteenth birthday. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church Wednesday afternoon, with the community deeply sympathizing with her family.

Obituary of D R Streeter Pioneer Editor of Emmons County

Darwin Reed Streeter born August 17 1843 in Belvidere Illinois spent decades as printer publisher and state Republican leader. He lived in Missouri Illinois and the Dakota region before settling in Emmons county where he served as district court clerk and a state legislator before dying May 27 1918 in Dayton Ohio at age 70. Funeral services were held May 30.

Former Linton Man Killed in Train Accident

Frank Lovelace, a train buyer for Occident Elevator Co, was struck and killed by Northern Pacific No 2 while crossing tracks near Linton station. The accident occurred Sunday afternoon as his buggy and team were on the rails. Funeral set for Hebron Congregational church Wednesday. An inquest was held last night. He leaves a widow and son, his parents at Werner, and sister Mrs Grace Kell of Temvik. Rev S L Lovelace is his father.
