Commissioner A H Laughlin proclaims free wool storage in Dickinson from June 15 to August 31 1896 under the Wool Market act. The city offers 275000 pounds storage without charge, accepts 80 sacks per lot, and weighs and receipts each sack. Special market days listed across several towns invite wool growers and buyers to participate.

Sunday school opened with singing and prayer led by Mrs. J. F. Geil. Six officers and eight teachers attended, one visitor. total present thirty eight. Collected fifty four cents. R E Brown offered to freight his organ from Raton New Mexico to Steele North Dakota if the school would cover the freight and until repaid thirteen dollars fifty six cents. A collection raised the amount quickly. Organ to be at Steele this week. Andrew Hanson to deliver so it is here by June 7. Closed with hymn 840. All invited. Mus E F Savace secretary.
