Jury Fails To Reach Verdict In Defender Case

The jury in the Defender case remained deadlocked after two days of deliberation with 11 voting for conviction and one for acquittal. The judge ordered venue changes to Burleigh County while Black Hawk and Defender were moved to Bismarck for trial, with next trials likely set for November or December.
