Adulterated and Misbranded Food List Exhibit 1909
North Dakota chemist I E F Ladd testifies that foods and beverages listed over six months up to June 1909 were adulterated or misbranded under the Pure Food Law. The list names dozens of preserves jams sauces catsup canned goods soups and extracts, with producers and locations, plus notes on sulfites benzoates copper salts and other additives. The notice is sworn in Fargo with county auditor Pitts certifying compliance.
