Miss Lucille Allen visited Bismarck with Miss Best who stayed here. she returned Monday. Mrs L M Doerschlag came from Pasadena to spend the Fourth with her husband. Deputy game warden Olaf Lindseth reports a 200 perch shipment planted in Persian Lake. A ten pound baby boy was born to Mr and Mrs C T Barton on June 24. Mr and Mrs Coffield of the Dale area visit old friends. Chas Peterson and wife left for Goodrich for a short vacation. Manley Fetterley drove them to Linton to catch the Northern Pacific. Mr and Mrs Van den Hoek from Douglas County South Dakota visit Gerrit Biesheuvel's home.

Emmons County commissioners Lee and DeHeaume visited Pollock to view roads north of town. A Red Cross group will meet July 7 at 2 p m at Mrs F E Devan’s home. Roy Bales and Chas Parrott went to Fort Yates for the Louis Endres estate sale. Mrs Spencer and her daughter from Barnesville Minnesota visited the McKay home in Glanavon township. Mr and Mrs I Willard arrived from Huron for an auto trip through the Black Hills. John Garber killed a rattlesnake in front of Bert Sturtevant’s home. second sighting in two years. The Shockeys welcomed a baby girl Sunday night.
