Old Soldier Cronk Dies in Emmons County
Lt. Cronk of Omno, a New York veteran born 1827, died suddenly from rheumatism of the heart after a day of severe pains. He settled in Dakota in 1885 with his second wife, left seven surviving children, and was honored by the G. A. R. during a large Winchester funeral.
