New farm purchased on Clear Creek by Mr. and Mrs. Drayton. Mount Pleasant Sabbath school officers listed. Literary society meeting hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Briggs featured a debate on women’s political rights. the affirmative led by Hans Wanson beats Bert White.
