Treeter Pioneer Record column on county misreporting
Linton North Dakota long-form critique of county records and auditing. The Record accuses county auditor Naramore and officials of manipulating minutes to conceal who ordered printing and clerk hires. It cites bills for ballots and tax lists, compares with Hazelton Republican and Braddock News payments, and criticizes extra clerks in the register of deeds office. It also notes Balkan news and a call for lawful, transparent county procedures. GEO. W. LYNN objects to unlawful clerk hire and defends taxpayer rights.
