Taxpayers' Alliance of Winchester held a meeting on Saturday January 9 1896 at 7 p m chaired by Robert Maxwell. Minutes of prior meeting approved a petition requested making town 132 a civil township. John Parker reported on a Williamsport trip to meet County Commissioners. report approved. New members listed and committees appointed. Meeting scheduled for weekly Saturdays. ADELBERT POTTER secretary. The Birthday Party section notes a Blizzard reduced attendance but guests enjoyed music dancing and a supper at Emmons House with birthday wishes.
