The January 7 1895 meeting of the Emmons county commissioners records the acceptance of H A Armstrong’s resignation as auditor and the adjournment to seek the attorney general’s opinion. Proceedings on January 8 include Wolf’s oath as commissioner, McLain elected chairman, appointment of Lincoln Geil as auditor, approval of numerous wolf scalp bounties and court certificates, and approval of various bills and bonds.
