Special meetings end next Sunday at M E church
The M E church hosts three weeks of special meetings led by Mr. Lind drawing near closure with a Sunday night finish. Attendance has averaged 90 on weekdays and over 200 on Sundays as a large crowd fills the 250 seat church. A 3:00 pm Sunday gathering for residents over 18 is planned, urging parents to attend. 114 attended Sunday School last week as the Record seeks subscribers at 200 dollars.

Linton Band Holds Banquet For Returned World War I Veterans
The Linton Boys Band hosted a banquet and dance for band members who served in World War I. Guests of honor included Vincent Shierlow, Don M. Paul Beal, Karl Ponath, Walter Mohn, C. F. Kelsch, and others as the program featured marches and songs followed by a lavish banquet with turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, rolls, coffee, ice cream, and cake.
