A meeting of Bakker and Union district teachers was held Friday November 28 1915 at the Westfield schoolhouse to organize a teachers association. Miss Shrode Mulloy McCullough Jellema and others attended with Jellema elected president Wahl secretary. A constitution draft was ordered and next meeting set for December 11 at two o clock with a program and full participation by members. Will Lammers named reporter.
