Not Guilty Verdict In Lynn Case After Jury Deliberation

District Court sat for the Lynn case with a large panel of jurors and witnesses summoned. After speeches by the Attorney General, presiding Judge Winchester charged the jury, and they returned a verdict of not guilty. The Slater case was continued with instructions to compel witness attendance at the next term.

Death of Mrs Fielden Casts Gloom on Williamsport Area

Mrs Fielden wife of Lawrence Fielden died from heart disease soon after the birth of a daughter at Williamsport area. Funeral at Fielden schoolhouse with remarks by Senator Worst. She was born February 14 1859 in Fond du Lac Wisconsin and settled in the neighborhood in 1888. She leaves five children Lizzie Nellie Blanche George Davrente and Mary Hagerty.
