Death Takes Another Pioneer Woman in North Linton

Susan Ellen Lee wife of W B Lee of Linton died at her North Linton home on Saturday morning August 9 after months of illness from paralytic strokes. Born July 4 1853 in Canisteo New York she was 66 years 1 month and 6 days old. The family came to Emmons county in 1884 and ministered to by Rev. Swaney the funeral was held at the North Linton home Sunday afternoon. Interment followed in Linton cemetery with pioneers as pallbearers and many friends attending.
