North Dakota and Montana boards set rail valuations

The Estate board of equalization in Bismarck fixed the N. P. main line value at 3450 dollars per mile and 8250 dollars for branches, below the legislatures 5000 per mile suggestion. Montana board completed its work. Northern Pacific valuation rose from 2835 to 5100 dollars per mile, exceeding North Dakota’s by 1650.
