Stay-in-School Drive Urges Laws and More Schooling
Notes by Go Supt encourage teachers to use back-to-school campaigns to explain child labor laws and stay-in-school benefits. The Children’s Bureau offers free leaflets, and a wage table shows higher earnings for completing high school. An eighth grade diploma was issued to Bennie Beastrom, and War Savings Club names appear amid district notices.

Townley era exposes farmers to Non Partisan League
A fragmentary letter harshly criticizes A C Townley and the Non Partisan League, accusing him of deceit, a confidence game, and misusing funds paid by farmers while promising gains. The piece notes Townley’s wealth and influence in the state, with a satirical tone about his political rise and alleged rapacious schemes.

High School Review Notes From A Busy Week
Lydia's puzzling actions on Monday contrasted with a sad look on Tuesday. Mrs. Briggle was absent last Thursday due to illness. All-Fool's Day pranks failed to fool most, while Mr. Galin received Russian literature books. Extra French classes aid students, and Holland booklets were completed. The eighth grade memorizes Julius Caesar, and several absences stem from a washed-out bridge impacting the Hager and Schweitzer children.
