County Convention delegates chosen for Fargo meeting

The Emmons county Republican convention in Winchester selected eight delegates to the presidential delegate convention at Fargo. Edward Braddock led the ticket with 64 votes, others included Dugald Campbell 68, Wesley Baker 50, H A Armstrong 50, Connor 47, Andrus 47, Parker 38, Patterson 30, Streeter 58. Delegates Braddock, Campbell, Baker, Armstrong, Connor, Andrus, Parker and Streeter declared elected. Resolutions reaffirm party principles and instruct delegates to vote for McKinley in Fargo and at St. Louis.
