Nestos enters North Dakota governorship race stirs anti Townley unity
An old capitol figure comments that Nestos run signals two outcomes: preventing a repeat of the Steen Frame fiasco and uniting anti Townley forces against Bolshevik socialism. He argues Langer is best equipped to lead the Republican effort, while Nestos’ bid may split the anti Townley vote. A petition urges Nestos to withdraw to forge a unified front and defeat Townleyism before the June primaries. A North Dakota Supreme Court decision delay on the Brinton Grab Newspaper law suit is noted.
