Missing Kimmetsburg youths located in Chester
An 18 year old boy and a 14 year old girl from Kimmetsburg were missing since Sunday and found Tuesday in Chester, La, returning home Wednesday. Sheriff Dick Miller said they left in the vaults car and were found without funds or a place to go. Police radio alerted officers to look for them. Peterson of Graettinger received a two year jail term suspended after pleading guilty to forgery for cashing a $10 check bearing his brother Sanford’s signature. County Attorney Iland filed the information, with William Fisher for the defense. Judge Narey approved Arnold Bisgaard’s first annual report as trustee for the First Lutheran church cemetery at Graettinger and allowed continued investment of perpetual care funds in government bonds.
