The Palo Alto county Legion Auxiliary met Thursday evening June 15 in the K P hall Emmetsburg with seventy eight in attendance. Hostess units Mallard and Graettinger and county president H C Heyen presided. Elizabeth Spies Hossack Graettinger played piano for opening and closing ceremonies. Defense stamps presented to residents and secretaries by the president. corsages to officers and visitors. Reports from Ruthven Mallard Graettinger West Bend Emmetsburg shared. Mallard West Bend tied in amendance contest Emmetsburg won scrapbook contest. The group planned another bond drive for the 3rd War Loan. Program included songs readings and pledges. refreshments by Graettinger and Mallard auxiliaries.
