Seventh Grade Field Trip Explores Local Grove and Marsh Life
Ruthven Consolidated School seventh graders toured a natural grove and Dewey's Pasture learning about wildlife, nesting and winter cover on private land. They visited Conservation Headquarters, viewed a planned grove, discussed garter snakes, and saw giant Canadian geese. Soil tests and maps at Huston Park concluded the trip with plant facts from Beulah Anderson.
