L Brown recalls that eight years earlier the late M B Grif fn of Spencer urged selling all bank stock. He warned of trouble for banks and expected real estate values to fall while predicting safer farmland. Brown notes following this advice would have saved much money.

Resolutions for drainage district levies approved. June 4 session reconvened with engineer appointment for Joint Drainage District 60 and claims paid from Primary Road Fund.
