Iowa to require new drivers licenses after July fifth

The Iowa legislature approved a 1935 safety control law requiring all automobile drivers to obtain new licenses by July 5. Applications and 25 cent fees may be mailed to Des Moines motor vehicle offices before the deadline. Licenses valid two years, with exams for first reissue, and county examiners to administer tests.
