Emmetsburg Democrat reports that at the Country Club Memorial Day Bind Bogey event nearly 40 golfers competed. Jacobson earned medalist honors with 76 while four players tied for first with net 75 after handicaps. judges Hand Teeter Morrow Rand a all shared the top score. Arrested for GMVS after truck crash near Ruthven
John Feldman twenty five of Ruthven was charged with driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated after his pickup left the road and slid into a gravel ditch four miles north of Ruthven. State Patrolman Byron Whit made the arrest. Feldman was held on a five hundred dollar bond and appeared before Justice of Peace Ellis to await grand jury action.
