A crowded social calendar fills the week with visits across Port Dodge Mason City Mason and Des Moines. Residents recount family reunions camps at Terrace Park West Okoboji and Algona while noting travels to Lake Okobogee and Des Moines shows, weddings, and ongoing summer plans involving local families, students, and veterans.
A string of relatives and friends travel and visit across Bulmersburg Wyotui Mein Lee and Spencer. McNulty sr and son John jr with families conclude a trip and return to Mintean. Mr McNulty sr visits sister Mrs Ganiey in Bulmersburg amid illness. Ruthven announces the marriage of Maurice E. Eldridge and Charles Eldridge Turthiven with Miss Hele Poelle of Spencer as witness, performed at the Methodist church in Ruthven in a double ceremony.
