Work Times Adjusted By Heat For Plowing

In extreme heat on Tuesday, Joe Carney and Jim Burke started corn plowing at 3 AM and paused at 10 AM. They resumed at 7 PM and worked until dark. This marked their third plowing session in the field.

Land Architecture Meeting At Mrs Carmichael Home

A landscape architecture lesson tour on the Home Management project was held June 16 at Mars H R Carmichael’s home. Leaders from Silver Lake Rush Lake and Nevads attended with War W Davis unable to attend. Mr Johnson covered. The warm day did not dampen participants as they enjoyed the lesson and demonstration. The session stressed forming a vision for future homes and working toward it.

Free Methodist Church Sunday Schedule and Camp Meeting

Free Methodist Church announces Sunday school at 2 p m with Mrs Anna Anderson as superintendent. Preaching at 11 a m with no evening service. Prayer meeting Wednesday at 8 p m.
