In Algona a quarrel between Dr Kenetick of Algona and Dr Walters of Hancock culminated in a Tuesday brawl after a County Medical association meeting at the Carnegie library. The pair exchanged blows, were separated by colleagues, and each suffered injuries. They faced a court hearing where the defense pleaded guilty, paying fines and costs. The dispute stemmed from a letter Walters allegedly wrote calling Kenetick a quack. Also noted: Clarence Taempsor’s Chicago marriage to Miss Gertrude Clark and upcoming travels.
The ceremony united Mr Fatrick Shaughnessy and Miss Kate Studer at Mallard Catholic church last Tuesday officiated by Father Rosseler. A grand reception followed at the bride’s parents home, with extensive local attendance and best wishes for the couple’s future in Pocahontas County.

James Kehoe of FaynonthaS Blont farm marketed 13 hogs at Armentront last week. The total live weight was 5240 pounds, averaging 403 pounds per hog. The hogs were described as spring pigs and were observed for feeding and conditioning.
