Theo Reinders, east of Curlew, passed away Thursday. The Ninormml was held in the Methodist church at Mallard Monday. Mr Reinders helped in this community for the past fifty years and was a highly respected citizen.
Rep G JH Keeney of Mallard selects Kathryn McCarty daughter of Mr and Mrs D E McCarty of Grietlinger as private secretary for the current legislative session. McCarty a recent Des Moines commercial college graduate assumed duties Tuesday and is described as competent and efficient.
Many Ayrshire residents attended the funeral of J J Hand held in the city at the Assumption church Friday morning.
